Use this process for setting up templates for Payment Plans.

Quick Guide

1.  Navigate to Configuration and select Payment Plans

2.  Select the +Payment Plan Template button

3.  Complete the details in each of the tabs (General Options, Surcharge Options, First Instalment Charges)

4.  Once all details are entered, select the Save button

Step by Step Guide

1.  Navigate to Configuration and under Financials select Payment Plans.

2. Select the +Payment Plan Template button.

3.Complete the details in each of the tabs (General Options, Surcharge Options, First Instalment Charges).

  • Start Day of Month: Is the day of the month that the plan will commence. For Example: 1 is the 1st of Jan or 23 is the 23d of Jan. If the day of the month for the current month / selected month is in the past it will add a month on the date until it is after today.
  • Plan Start Offset to Membership Start: Will override above start of plan parameters (Day of Month, Day of Week and Month). This setting adds 'x' number of days to Primary Membership Start Date. Above Parameters are still required for adhoc (not membership related) invoices on a payment plan.
Example: If this setting is set to 15 and the start of the membership period is 01/07 - the plan will start on the 16/07.
  • Other Fee Description: Payrix only. This is displayed on the eDDR form and can be used to inform the member of additional fees that may apply to instalments. eg: $15 Dishonour Fee
  • Charge Distributions: This setting defines charges to be paid on specific instalments rather than have them distribute equally across all instalments. Do not add charges that you want evenly distributed across ALL instalments
Example: A $300 club levy charge is to be paid in the first 3 instalments of a 12 month payment plan. Add the charge and select instalments 1, 2 and 3. A golf affiliation fee is to be paid up front. Add the charge and select instalment 1. The $3000 membership charge that is to be paid in equal amounts across all instalments does not need to be added here.

4. Once all details are entered, select the Save button.
