Add a Payment Method

To add a new payment method to your MiMembership options.

Payment methods are populated in the standard and advanced payment options drop menus and online view of invoices under the payment options display.



Step by Step Guide


Step 1 - Navigate the main menu to Configuration > Financials > Payment Methods




Step 2 - Click + Payment Method button




Step 3 -  Add Details for the new Payment Method and click Save

  • Name - appears in the payment method drop menu
  • Payment method type - select the relevant option from the drop menu
  • Admin only - the payment method will not show on member's documentation or online invoice views
  • Surcharges - select relevant surcharge from the drop menu > Create a Surcharge
  • Member Payments and Surcharge information - only appear under the online invoice payment options display
  • GL Code - only required if GL integration is enabled. The journal sends the payment to this account in the GL



  • The new payment method is available to select from the standard and advanced payment method options dropmenus and online view invoice display:
