Change Membership End Date

To reduce or extend the membership period for an individual membership.

User security level to unlink invoices may be required. Contact your manager to update your MiMembership user security settings.




Step by Step Guide


Step 1 - Navigate to the member's Subscription or Membership account

  • Use the Quick Search to locate the Member Record
  • Click the link on the Subscription or Membership Account Name


Step 2 - Unlink the invoice from the membership

  • Select the Unlink Invoice option from the Invoice Action (reference number) menu
  • Click Yes to confirm

Notes: 

  • The invoice selected must be the one linked to the membership group that requires the date change
  • The Unlink action will change the membership document status to Invoice Required. The document status will revert back to Not Required on completion of Step 4
  • Step 1 is not required if the invoice is not linked to the membership (i.e. the membership has no charges)





Step 3 - Change the membership group End Date

  • Click the Member Action button and select Memberships
  • Select Change Date from the Membership Action menu
    • Ensure you select the membership with the unlinked invoice action completed in Step 2
  • Enter the new End Date for the membership and select the Continue button
  • Select the Change Date button and then Yes to confirm date change






Step 4 - Relink the invoice to the membership

  • Select Link Invoice from the Membership Action menu (for the same membership with the date change completed in Step 3)
  • From the available invoices select the Invoice unlinked in Step 2
  • Click the Link Invoice button to relink the invoice to the membership
