Charges are items that are invoiced or credited to members account types.
The charges will be what the member sees on their Invoice, Credit Note, Payment Receipt and Account Views.
Examples of Charges: Golf Subscription, Golflink Fee, Locker Fee, House Levy etc.
Quick Guide
Step 1 - Navigate to Configuration - Charges
Step 2 - Select the Charge Category you wish to create a new charge in
Step 3 - Click the +Charge button
Step 4 - Under Create Charge heading fill in the charge information
Step 5 - Under Initial Variation heading enter the value of the charge, select the start date and select the Pro Rata Method if required.
Once all the details are completed click Save.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1 - Navigate to Configuration - Charges
Step 2 - Select the charge category the new charge will go in.
If the new charge needs to be associated with its own "charge category" see the solution below for creating a category first.
How to Create a Charge Category
Step 3 - Click the +Charge button
Step 4 - Under Create Charge heading fill in the charge information (e.g. Name, Charge Category, Account, Currency, Tax Type as well as General Ledger details).
Step 5 - Under Initial Variation heading enter the value of the charge, select the start date and select the Pro Rata Method if required (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly). Once all the details are completed click Save.
