Setting Up Xero Authentication for Individual Users

For use when a staff member with access to MiMembership needs to be able to integrate with Xero for 
General Ledger purposes.


Quick Guide
Note: To complete this first step, you must have a login to your company's Xero account.
1. Navigate to Configuration and under Integration select Integration Settings.

2. Under Manage Integrations select General Ledger
3. In General Ledger select the Authorize Xero button
4. Log in to Xero

5. Select the Allow access button

6. Select an organisation from the drop-down menu and then select Connect
7 .You will be redirected to the MiMembership General Ledger Integration screen. Select the Find Tenant button.

8. In Select Connection for use with Xero window, select the Set As Tenant Id button
9. Test Connection. Navigate to Configuration/Financials/Chart of Accounts/GL Code/Retrieve GL Codes from Xero. Select Get GL Codes. This will query Xero for GL codes in the system.


Step by Step Guide

1. Navigate to Configuration and under Integration select Integration Settings.

Note: If a message appears, stating the system is already allowing access just select Connect.

7 . You will be redirected to the MiMembership General Ledger Integration screen. Select the Find Tenant button.

8. In Select Connection for use with Xero window, select the Set As Tenant Id button.

9. Test Connection. Navigate to Configuration/Financials/Chart of Accounts/GL Code/Retrieve GL Codes from Xero. Select Get GL Codes. This will query Xero for GL codes in the system.
