Troubleshooting - Ezidebit Customer Already Exists

When a warning is received in MiMembership to advise the new customer creation failed because the customer already exists in Ezidebit it means; the 8 digit number that usually gets sent back from Ezidebit can't automatically be populated through the integration. Complete this process to find this 8 digit number and enter it manually in the MiMembership reference field




Step by Step Guide


Step 1 - Retrieve the customer number from your Ezidebit online account

  • Login to Ezidebit with your user credentials
  • Select Payers from the menu and then Find Payers
  • Enter the member name in the Search Criteria field
  • Click on the Payer Name to open their record
  • Copy the 8 digit number at the end of the URL. This is the customer number
    • The URL of the member record page will be https://ezionline.ezidebit.com.au/payer/contractId=12345678 



Step 2 - Enter the 8 digit customer number in the Ezidebit field in MiMembership

  • Login to MiMembership with your user credentials
  • Use the Quick Search field to locate the member record
  • Click on the Financial Details tab and select Edit
  • Enter the 8 digit number in the Ezidebit Customer Reference field
  • Click the Save button
