Managing Share Status

Quick Guide


Step 1 - Navigate to Configuration > Shares > Share Status

Step 2 - Edit / Delete / View History of an existing status through the action menu. Note: If a share status is being used by data you will not be able to delete it.

Step 3 - Disabling a status. If you want to disable the status for future share types you can toggle the Enabled button to the off position (greyed out).

Step 4 - Create a new status by clicking on the + Share Status button

Step 5 - Fill in the attributes. Note: Share statuses are linked to share types. Only one status with an attribute of Assigned can be linked to a share type.

  • Name: name of the status. EG: First Issue, Available, Assigned, Returned to Club
  • Available: If the share is available to purchase
  • Assigned: If the share has been assigned to a member and is not available for purchase
  • Enable: If the share status is active/viewable in the repository. You can use this setting to hide the status from being selected

Step 6 - Click Save

Step 7 - The status can now be selected when setting up share types.
