When shares are initially created or when they are put up for sale the transfer of ownership is completed in the Share Registry
Quick Guide
Step 1 - Navigate to the Share Registry. Shares > Share Registry
Step 2 - Locate the share you want to transfer ownership of. You can search the registry by filtering the table columns by share number, shareholder name, member number
etc. You can also use the display options (top bar) to show all shares available for sale.
Step 3 - From the action menu select Process Sale
Step 4 - Complete the Sales of Share information
- Purchaser - type and select member from the auto complete
- Certificate # - if shares are being sold for the first time click on generate button to create certificate number
- Purchase Price - Price being paid for the share/s
- Purchase Date
- Assign Playing rights to New Shareholder - leave this unchecked if you do not wish to transfer any associated playing rights. Most of the time the shareholder will also be assigned the playing rights, however, at the time of sale, a share may be leased to a different member other than the shareholder. The ownership of the share can be transferred without impacting on existing lease holds.
NOTE: If checked ALL existing lessees/nominees will be removed/deleted - even for shares with multiple playing rights.
