Run a Member Draw

Run a random member draw from within the MiMembership application

• Access to run the draw is controlled by the security access of the MiMembership user
• To create a draw follow the instructions on how to Create a Member Draw

Step by Step Guide

Step 1 - From the main menu navigate to Members and then Member Draw

Step 2 - Select the Draw due to run from the available draw tabs

Step 3 - Click the Run Draw button

• This action opens the draw display screen

Step 4 - Click the Start Draw button

• The countdown will start and entered names will appear 'spinning' on screen

Step 5 - Click the Claim Prize button

• Only click the Claim Prize button if the winning member displayed presents to claim the prize within the allocated time frame, otherwise wait until the countdown to claim is completed

Step 6 - 

1. Click the Continue button
   • Only if the draw is configured to run multiple times: the progress on number of draws run will display on the Continue button. e.g. 1/3 Draws - meaning this is the first of 3 draws
2. Click the Exit button
   • Only when the draw is completed, to return to the Draw Repository 

NOTE: To trigger the increment increase it is important to "exit" draw using the Exit button. Simply leaving the page does not count the draw as complete.

Step 7 - Update the Paid status for a claimed draw

• If a draw is claimed the winners name and amount is recorded in the Draw Repository
• The winners Paid status will remain as NO until the Amount is marked as paid
• We recommend all claimed amounts are marked as Paidonce the winnings have been distributed:
  1. From the main menu navigate to Members and Member Draw then select the Draw Tab. This action opens the Draw Repository
  2. From the Action drop menu next to the draw Winner select $ Mark as Paid. This action updates the Paid status to YES. To add a note to the draw winner select the Edit action
